This action packed story also features Peter Purves, who went on to become a Blue Peter presenter, as Steven Taylor with Jacqueline Hill as Barbara Wright, William Russell as Ian Chesterton and Maureen O'Brien as Vicki. Beautifully packaged together, Doctor Who Space Museum/The Chase will be available on DVD from 1st March 2010, priced at £29.99.

When the TARDIS jumps a time track and the travellers arrive on the planet Xeros, they discover their own future selves displayed as exhibits in a museum built as a monument to the galactic conquests of the warlike Morok invaders who now rule the planet. When time shifts back to the present, they realise that they must do everything they can to try to avert this potential future.

Back in the present time, our adventurous companion Vicki helps the native Xeron’s to obtain arms and revolt against the Moroks in a bid to change the future. But will this be enough to secure the time travellers’ existence?

The Chase finds our friends in the TARDIS, huddling around the Time-Space Visualiser each choosing a time in space to visit. But as they visit key moments in human history, their movements attract the attentions of the Dalek ship. Almost captured on planet Aridius, our intrepid team are saved by the Aridians and so begins a chase through time and space.

For having created their own time machine, the Daleks are able to pursue the TARDIS from the planet Aridius, on to the Empire State Building in 1966, on to the Marie Celeste in 1872 and even on into a haunted house within someone’s nightmare before a final confrontation on Mechanus.
